Skincare tips that cost almost nothing

We usually spend a lot of money (me!) in our skincare products and maintenance to keep our health and maintain our skin and hair in proper condition. Depending of our budget we choose our products and see what works and what doesn’t.

But there are few things that cost almost nothing that are key to maintain and care our skin and we must include in our routine.

Drink Water

Stay hydated and always choose to drink water instead of sodas and other sugary drinks. Remember use reusable bottles.

Use silk

Sleep on a silk pillowcase instead of cotton. Silk is hypoallergenic and helps prevents wrinkles. If you don’t have one, change your pillowcase frequently as it will prevent to have breakouts.

Clean your cellphone

We use our cellphone almost 24 hours and it goes everywhere with us. We put them on tables, cars, touch after touching other surfaces and bacteria can built up. Sanitize and disinfect your cell phone daily to prevent breakouts and the spread of bacteria

Spray

Use a facial mist prior applying your serums to enhance product penetration. This way you get most of the products you have invested. You can also spray spring water.

Ice, Ice , baby

Have a breakout? use Ice on ot twice a day to reduce inflamation, redness and swelling.

Brush your teeth

Brush your teeth before washing your face to avoid irritation from toothpaste if you have sensitive skin or your using a strong product that may cause irritation. Try to use electrical ones or if you prefer disposable ones there are great options made out bamboo to diminish the use of the plastic ones (less waste).

What other cheap beauty tips that you use and works?

Have a great and safe day!
