DIOR Forever Natural Nude foundation review

After a short break I’m back on track on the blog coming with a lot of reviews of products I have finished last month and today’s is the moment to have a look of this popular foundation.

Dior has created a few years ago the Forever foundation that was a hit and since then has incoporated more versions to teh Forever product family. One of those is the Forever Natural Nude foundation and here is my complete review.

The Promise: Fresh and feather-light, the texture gives a natural and radiant finish without a mask effect, allowing the skin to breathe from morning to night. Also promises 24 hours of perfection with the feeling of unmade-up skin thanks to its formula enriched for 96% with ingredients of natural origin and a concentrated floral care.

Main ingredients: Glycerin and flowers extract.

Texture: liquid

Suitable for sensitive skin: No, it has perfume.

For whom is good: all skin types.

Vegan: Not clear. It has lecithin but it doesn’t say the origin (animal or vegetal)

Cruelty free: No. Dior does not test in animals, but It sells its products in China. That means by law the country tests the product on animals before is available in the market.

Size: 30 ml / 1 fl oz.

Shelf life: 12 months

Packaging: Glass vase with plastic top

Share range: 17 shades. The shade I used was the 2.5N

My review: I will start for the positive aspects of the foundation. It is a very light weight and very easy to apply. My preferred method is with a brush but as I’m not a makeup artist you can used with your application preference.

The coverage is medium and it gives yo a natural look. It didn’t cover my sun spots. It has a very light glow.

But it does not last!. When I use it it lasted at most 4 hours. You have to use other products (like primers, setting spray, etc.) to last a few hours longer. In my opinion a foundation with this price tag would not need more add-ons to make it work.

If you are looking for a natural finish foundation, this is for you, but don’t expect a 24 hour lasting effect.

Another point of improvement: the shade range: it is only 17 shades!, we are in 2023 I would expect more from Dior.

How long did it last: 14 months

What I like the most: How easy it applies

Score: 2/5. below average.

Sustainability score: Medium. natural ingredients and a glass bottle that can be recycled.

Will I repurchase it: No

Where you can buy it: you can buy directly from Dior page or at beauty retailers in your home country.

Note: I purchased the product reviewed and there are affiliate links in this post
