Today will be my day No. 20 in lock down and the government announced 2 days ago that this will continue until April 28th. Even though I can work from home I still have some time to kill. I have followed every Instagram post on tips to clean the house, Marie kondo my closet, bake every single cake recipe I can find an the list go on..
Also, I realized that many of my beauty rituals I have to do them at home like manicure, facials, etc. (I’m not even attempting to cut my own hair. That is a risk I will not take) and I realize there are many creative things I can do and I want to share my list with you, so if you find yourself bored or sick of watching Netflix, here you have some inspiration.
5 beauty things to during Quarantine
Beauty products samples: this is the perfect time to use and test all the beauty samples you have been stocking for holidays, etc. This is the perfect moment to test, use it and avoid unnecessary spending.

Hotel soap: do you have stocked those little soaps from the hotel or gifts you have received? If you won’t planned to use it in the shower, you can mill them and put it in a little bags and put in your wardrobe, drawers or any other space you will like a fresh fragrance.
Expiration date: Check all your beauty and makeup products and check when the ones that are expired or smelling funny and throw them out. This will leave you with safe products and the ones that you are really using. Also if you have unopened products that you may not use, you can take a chance to donate them to your nearest charity organization.
Clean you brushes and tools: This should be a regular task you do if you are using you brushes, but now you have more time so collect all your brushes, beauty sponges and tools (hairdryer, foreo, etc.) and do a proper cleaning and maintenance. The more frequent you take care of them, the longer they will last.

Take care of your cuticles: if you are a fan of Shellac or gel manicure and you cant get to the salon, take them off (carefully) and take the opportunity to nourish and take care of your nails and cuticles. Rub them every day with any oil you have (almond is the best, but coconut work as well). This will help the cuticles to heal and your nails to grow stronger.

Eat well to get the nutrients in you body and drinks a lot of water.
Stay Safe!
