Beauty | Evoluderm micellar cleansing water for dry and sensitive skin

Hello everybody, how is your Wednesday going so far? mine is well as we are enjoying very good (rare) weather. It is sunny here in Amsterdam and very pleasant.

For today’s review I will share my experience with a brand I didn’t know I discovered when I visited TKmaxx (the European version of TJmaxx) before the pandemic. And I was surprised in a good way. Even though my micellar water holy grail is the one from Bioderma, I’m always willing to try new ones.

Brand: Evoluderm

Country: France

Main ingredients: propylene glycol (Hydrating), poloxamer 184 (cleansing) and Glycerin. all the main ingredients are good for the skin

Purpose: is a micellar water delicately cleanses the skin. Without alcohol, it respects, and hydrates dry and sensitive skin while providing a pleasant feeling of freshness after each application.

Texture: liquid.

For whom is good: it is specially formulated for dry and sensitive skin. The brand has 2 other versions: one for combination to Oily skin and one reactive skin prone to redness.

Free of: Parabens and alcohol.

Vegan: yes

Cruelty-free: Yes

Safe for pregnant women: Yes.

Size: it comes in 3 sizes: 100ml (perfect for travel), 250 ml (the one I’ve got) and 500ml.

My opinion: My holy grail has been always the Bioderma micellar water which is a cult in the industry, and I still think is an awesome product, but I have to say that this micellar water is way better!. It was a huge surprised for me. And you may ask why? well for 3 main reasons:

  • It removes makeup better
  • My skin is softer and I don’t experience and tight feeling after (and my skin is very dry)
  • And the price is great

It has a light fresh scent and it last ages and have hydrant ingredients that help my skin while cleaning it. I highly recommend this product.

I had such a great experience with this product that now I’m testing a face mist with hyaluronic acid and a facial toner and so far they are good as well.

Evoluderm is not as known as other French brands like: La Roche Posay, Vichy, Bioderma etc. But has a great range of products for face and body that I’m very interesting to try. And has a great price point.

How long did it last: the 250 ml lasted me 3 months using it every night.

Score: 5/5. Holy grail status.

Will I repurchase it: yes and yes and yes

Price point (250ml) : 3€ | $9 | £5

Have you heard from Evoluderm before?

How has been your experience?
