These past few days has been so sad. It is still amaze to me that it is 2020 and we still marginalized people based on the color of their skin or ethnicity. That for me is mind-blowing.
We are not born racist. People can’t die because of the color of their skin. People should not have more privilege because of the color of their skin.
But also, Venezuelan lives matter. Why? because people in Venezuela die every day. Nobody should not be killed for a pair of shoes, a bag of groceries or starve to death because of the government. And I see that every day. and It breaks my heart.
I hope during this turmoil we are living we can have time to reflect and speak up when injustice happens. We need to put it out there and make sure it doesn’t happen again.
