Last weekend was a long one due that Monday was a national holiday in the Netherlands.
And was we entered Phase 1 where the CoviD19 restrictions started to ease down, we decided to spend it at the beach. We rented an Airbnb in front Scheveningen beach in The Hague, so we worked from there and then spend a different weekend. To be honest it was weird leaving the house after 2 1/2 months being in lockdown. It felt weird but at the end was wonderful idea.

We brought all our food to cook as restaurants were not open yet. The view from the apartment was beautiful right at the beach and the sunset were breathtaking.

We rented a couple of bikes for the weekend and we explore the beaches around, and people were really doing social distancing and keeping their towels and tents distanced from each other.

The weekend was super sunny so It felt nice to be in summer dresses and flip flops but the water was freaking cold! These are the moments that I missed my Caribbean sea. But I was so happy that I was outside and at the beach that was a minor thing.

It was just what we needed.
Have a nice and safe day everyone!
