Today I’m sharing my view of a very popular face cleanser that has some very good reviews. Usually for some weird reason when I tried a well-known product for some reason, I don’t have the same experience hast most people. This proves that skincare is a very personal thing and what is good for one person it may not be for others.

Country: United States
Purpose: gentle face cleanser, enriches with soy proteins to help maintain elasticity of the skin while removing your makeup or be a cleanser for your skin.
Main ingredients: Glycerin, soybean oil, cucumber and rose water.
Texture: clear gel
For whom is good: all skin types
Free of: parabens or silicones.
Vegan: Yes
Cruelty free: Depends. In EU, it is as its part of the regulation and the products are manufactured in France. But they distribute their products in mainland China where is required by law to test on animals.
Safe for pregnant women: Yes
Size: 150ml. There are 2 other presentations: 50ml & 400 ml.
Shelf life: 6 months
My opinion: unfortunately, my opinion is a unpopular one. I really didn’t like this product or in other words, this product didn’t work for me and for 2 main reasons:
1.- It dried out my skin a little bit, which is strange as it has many soothing ingredients but my skin felt tight afterwards.
2. The smell. I cannot stand it. I’m a person that doesn’t mind products having fragrance and most of the time I enjoy them and is part of the experience using skincare. But this one was bigger than me. The smell is like earthy (I don’t know how to describe it) but made me hate it every time I have to use it.
I used the entire tube as I don’t lie to waste product and the cleanser does the job. It cleanses, but for the price I have has better facial cleanser more affordable. For me spending more than 30 euros on a cleanser it has to be very good.
The good part is that it comes in 50 ml format, so you can try it before buying the big tube.
