As I’m writing the title of this post, I’m laughing at myself at the same time. Who does a travel plan in the middle of a global pandemic? apparently me.
We cannot plan a lot as a lot of things are changing, still are many restrictions and lockdowns and so many things up in the air, but I find comforting to make a wish list of travel I would like to do when everything start getting back to normal.
This is the list of the trips I want to do, and I will hope to do them. If the situation does not allow us, then I will postpone it, but I prefer to have a plan in mind than nothing at all.
Winter
We were planning to travel to BCN on November last year, but because of the lockdowns in The Netherlands and Spain we postponed it to February 2021. We picked this date as that will be our anniversary so if everything goes well, we will be able to spend a long weekend eating tapas and enjoying this beautiful city.
Spring
This trip is very important to me, my sister is due to give birth on late March and it is my first nephew. I’m excited and anxious at the same time to visit her as I haven’t seen her in over a year and this is a very special moment in our family. Fingers cross that I can be able to be there!
Summer
My favorite season of the year, where the days are longer and the sun is out (hopefully we have a better summer than last year, fingers crossed.
Menorca was a destination we had in our plans last year but got cancelled 2 times. We are still wanted to go and enjoy some relaxing days at the beach. And some scuba diving as well.
Our second destination will be at the end of summer and will be to Mexico. another trip we had to cancelled. Last year we were planning to go on Xmas, but we all know the story. We will be visiting the Boyfriend family.
Fall
We have a wedding of a dear friend in October in the beautiful island (This also got postponed to this year).
Winter
We haven’t decided where to go this year. We need to decide with which side of the family we will be.
None of the dates have been set in stone yet, but at least we have a list where and when we want to visit and will give us time to look for some good deals and ticket sales.
