The last empties post I did was on June last year and by that time we were ending the first lockdown in The Netherlands and I was really looking forward to the summer. Little did I know we will still be in lockdown.
But anyway, preparing this post made me realize that i havenβt share my empties in such a long time and this is the type of post I love sharing with you.
I have a long list of empties (12 in total) that are from November & December so a lot to review today. For reference here is my rating scale.
π I love it! – π I like it, included it in my rotation list – π is ok, nothing spectacular
π I didn’t it like it at all.
THE SHINNING STARS
This are the products that I really liked.

π Clean it Zero cleansing balm – Great product that works really well in removing makeup. It leaves my skin very soft and it last a long time. I will repurchase it in the future. I wrote a full review here. The texture reminded me of the one from The Body Shop.
π Kiehl’s Powerful – Strength Line-Reducing concentrate – This is my Vitamin C serum Holy grail. It is excellent. The full and complete review is here if you are interested in knowing why I love it so much.
π Retirides – Tretoin 0.5% – My retinol Holy grail. This was my second tube I used in 2020. It is simple, effective and powerful. In my post I explained why you have to be very careful using it as it is powerful. I will purchase again once I start my retinol phase in a couple of months.
π Dr. Dennis Gross – Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel. Excellent AHA peel pads, that you can used at home when you skin need a boost of glow. There is a complete post of how I used them if you are interested to know.
THE GOOD ONES

π SkinCeuticals Hydrting B5 serum – A nice hydrating serum I used in the morning after my vitamin C serum. Left my skin soft and hydrated. This is the first product of SkinCeuticals I have ever tried. I really like it and I understand why so many people like it. The only con is the price.
π Dermaquest Eye lift – I haven’t found to this day an eye cream I really like. That being said This one from Dermaquest is good, it is hydrating but nothing more which is a shame based on their claims and the price.
π Cien – Foot cream Urea 10% – Affordable foot cream from Lidl. Nice it absorbs quickly but is not as my beloved Flexitol one.
π Anessa – UV SPF 50 – Excellent SPF by Anessa a brand from Shiseido. Light, perfect to use under makeup.
THE DISSAPOINMENTS

π COLAB Dry shampoo Tropical – I didn’t like this shampoo at all. Why? Here you will find out why.
π The Inkey list Hepta – Peptide serum – This is officially not an empty because I hated how my skin was when I used it that I stopped using it after 1.5 months. My skin felt terrible and incredible matte a dry and it supposed to be hydrating and helping my skin to prevent the sign of aging and it did the opposite. This one is not for me.
π Dr.Jart+ Peptidin serum – Another try with a Peptide serum and I have a better luck with this one. Is an ok hydrating serum, but nothing spectacular, but I didnβt finished it. I have also a post explained the reasons why. I wonβt repurchase it again.
π Essence Repair nail oil – Did nothing, there are other affordable ones that do a better job that this one.
Do you have any empties from June or products you continue to purchase again and again?
I would love to hear from you in the comments!
