The stars
Skinceuticals – Hydrating B5 serum – Excellent hydrating serum that is worth every penny. It hydrates your skin, absorbs quickly, and leaves your skin feeling soft and plumply. Perfect to use under makeup as a primer.
La Roche-Posay – Hydraphase Intense UV light – This is a mix of a serum and a light lotion. It is like a splash of water that hydrates your skin. It is so light that it suits any skin type. Brilliant.
The good one
Origins – Plantscription anti-aging power serum – This is a great antioxidant serum; it is perfect to use at night. It didn’t wow me but is a good product to try.
The forgettables
Funny that the ones I didn’t like were the most expensive ones, who knew?
Zelens – Youth Concentrate Supreme Age-Defying Serum – This was supposed to be hydrating and make my skin look firmer, but my skin felt drier and uncomfortable. And the more I used it the more dull and drier looked. I hated it.
Medik8 – Crystal Retinal 1 Stable Retinol night serum gentle strengh Vitamin A – This is the worst retinol serum i have ever used. It didn’t do anything, and my skin didn’t like. My retirides 0.05% does a way better job.
And the best serum of 2021 is…..
Sesderma Resveraderm serum
The Winner
The perfect anti-oxidant serum suitable for any skin type. My skin feels hydrated, soft and less tired. I have used it for years. Holy grail.
