Hello all, today I’m sharing my opinion on a dry shampoo that really has changes my view on this type of product. I have always had a love-hate relationship with dry shampoo, mainly because I didn’t find the perfect one and also because I didn’t use them properly. But now I discovered the one. Itis that good.

Purpose: dry shampoo that helps eliminates oil, dirt and odors leaving hair clean. Also is great to add volume
Main ingredients: Rice bran extract, aluminum starch, Hectorite and Oat milk
Texture: powder
For whom is good: All hair types, especially if you like to add volume. Safe for color and chemically treated hair.
Free of: Parabens, sulfates, and preservatives
Vegan: Yes
Cruelty free: Depends. In EU, it is as its part of the regulation and the products are manufactured in France. But they distribute their products in mainland China where is required by law to test on animals.
Safe for pregnant women: Yes
Size: 50 gr
Shelf life: 12 months
Packaging: non-aerosol bottle
Sustainability score: 4/5. What I love about this product is that is non aerosol version of a dry shampoo and the bottle is complete recyclable. Also, a portion of the sales supports the Budding Botanist grant to fund school gardens.
My opinion: This is an award-winning product that really works. I have been having trouble to find a great dry shampoo that works and doesn’t leave a white cast that is difficult to erase. This does. It is an excellent dry shampoo for 3 simple reasons:
- It really eliminates the oil and dirt from your hair effectively.
- Your hair is and looks clean and soft to the touch
- The white cast goes away quickly when your brush your hair It adds volume to any hair type.
The fragrance is fresh and soft. It is really good.
How I use it: there is a trick when using it. As is not an aerosol format,, what you are putting in your hair is actual powder (similar to talc) so the application can be messy at the beginning. You may end up with powder all over your clothes. But once you get the hang of it. It works wonders.
A tip is that sometimes I am putting on before going to bed and my hair wakes up super clean and soft, so all i need to do is take a shower, get dressed and I’m ready. Time effectiveness to the max.
How long did it last: It last me almost 5 months using it a couple of times per week
