The Face oils of 2021

Continuing with the review of 2021 series, today we will be covering: Face oils.

I’m a huge fan of face oils, especially at night and I use them as the last step of my skincare routine. They add a layer of nutrients and vitamins that help my skin to restore and feel good. I use not too many during a year as a little goes a long way.

Here is my ranking of the face oils I used in 2021

The star

Oskia – Restoration oil – This is a beautiful and super nourish face oil. It is packed with vitamins and lipids (like Squalene) that really helps your skin to recuperate, especially if you are using acids or retinol. I really love it. It is pricey, but totally worth it.

The forgettable ones

Honest Beauty – Beauty Facial oil – I really don’t understand why this oil is so popular. It is ok oil, that don’t do much to your skin. It took me forever to finish because I did not like it. It is a no no. there are better options out there.

Clarins – Blue Orchid Face treatment Oil – Uff I know I will anger some of you as I know this oil is a favorite of many people. But it did not work for me. My skin did not like it at all. and for the price, it better work. Another no.

And the best face oil of 2021 is…..

The Ordinary 100% cold-Pressed Virgin Marula Oil

This is hand down the best face oil I have tried in years. It absorbs very quickly; my skin feels and looks nourished and healthy and it is perfect after using retinol or a peeling. And the price point has no comparison. I have used it multiple times and I will keep buying. It is part of my Holy grail category. It is that good.
