Today is the last post of the products I used up in 2021 and this one is dedicated entirely to makeup. One of my main objectives was to use and finish the products I had, before making new purchases.
Here is my ranking of the makeup I used in 2021.
The stars
L’Oreal – True match foundation – Excellent foundation from the drugstore. It applies beautifully and stays on your skin for a very long time. The color I use is 3N. Great for dry and/or mature skins.
NYX – Eyebrow powder pencil – One of the best eyebrow pencils i have tried. Affordable and great product. It is soft but stays all day. Love it. My color is Soft brown.
Maybelline – SUPER STAY®MATTE INK™ LIQUID LIPSTICK – This is hand down the most face mask proof liquid lipstick out there. It comes in a variety of colors. The only thing is that it is a little it is drying. Appy only one coat and you will be fine.
The good ones
Maybelline – Lash sensational full fan effect mascara – Maybelline is one of my favorite brands when it comes to mascara. They are affordable, they make your lashes look great and they offer many options on depending what kind of finish you like. This one is very good and as i use waterproof mascara it stayed in place even on rainy days.
La Roche Posay – Respectissime Mascara volume – This was a very pleasant surprise from LRP. Made my lashes look super long and nice. Perfect for sensitive eyes. The only downside it is not waterproof.
The forgettable ones
Estee Lauder – Futurist Hydra Rescue foundation – I had so many expectations from this foundation and when you apply it looks good, but that look doesn’t last. I looked cakey after r 3 hours. Save your money, not worth it.
Estee Lauder – Double Wear Stay in PlaceFlawlwss wear Concealer – Terrible concealer. I looked like 10 years older as it creases when I put it under the eye area. Waste of money.
Catrice – Slim’matic ultra precise brow pencil – It crumbles when you apply it, so the pencil ended up lasting around 2 weeks. I prefer the NYX one.
Bobbi Brown – Luxe Liquid High Shine – I didn’t like it at all. It bleeds. there are better options and more affordable. The color I use is 1 Au Natural.
Dior Addict – Lip Tattoo long-wear colored tint – The worst lipstick I have ever tried in my life. Super expensive, does not last and it bleeds. Terrible purchased.

CHANEL – VITALUMIERE AQUA Foundation
It is light, it covers most my hyperpigmentation, and my skin looks healthy and fresh. Perfect for normal to dry skin. The tone I use is 30 Beige
Benefit – Gimme bow eyebrow gel
It is easy to use and perfect to fix your brows without too much complication. The finish is natural, and it lasts the whole day. A must on my makeup kit. My color is No. 3
Physicians Formula – Butter Bronzer
It has a creamy texture (even though is a powder). It as a slight shimmer finish but not very noticeable and has a great pigmentation with a smooth finish. Blends very easy and has a great staying power. The color I use is Sunkissed Bronzer.
